Zoho Meeting - from work in progress to progressed work

Included in the Zoho One suite is Zoho Meeting. A comprehensive meeting and webinar tool. The main competitor for Zoho Meeting is Zoom (some say Microsoft Teams, but really? Only because it comes with Office). The biggest benefits of Zoho Meeting were the integration to other Zoho products, a professional webinar registration and delivery tool, and the before mentioned integrations. But how does it really stack up?

User experience

The user experience is comprised of the ease of use of the tool, the ability to do what is expected (for example: mute and unmute, raise hand, chat, take notes, etc) and the quality of the platform.

Zoho Meeting has never been behind in the general user experience when it comes to features. With the continuous investment of Zoho in the quality of sound and image, it is now close to the benchmark set by Zoom. All without the need to install a meeting client on your desktop (it runs straight from the browser).

The latest feature in Zoho Meeting is the Breackout room. Have a large meeting or virtual workshop where you want to distribute the attendees over various breakout rooms?

Now you can create up to 20 breakout rooms per meeting, and assign the participants accordingly.

This feature is exceptionally useful for online workshops, as well as organisational strategy meetings where you wish to break the main meeting up into topical breakouts.

Integrations

This is where meeting truly shines. Seamless integration into Zoho Mail/Calendar for organising your online meeting. An integration into CRM for your meetings as well as Webinars - create lead records for all that register - and keep automated attendance records in CRM.

Want to take notes during your meeting? Use the Zoho Notebook integration - there is even a special Meeting template, so you can capture attendees, topics, issues, solutions, and actions.

The integration with OpenAI will provide you with the option to have your recorded meetings transcribed, and the key points extracted.

If you are a Zoho One user or a Zoho Workplace user, Zoho Meeting is included in your plan. You are ready to organise your first meeting. If you are not yet a Zoho Meeting user, you should give it serious consideration.
